Mr. Alfred Leung appointed General Manager, Hong Kong Branch of CEC

Mr. Alfred Leung was appointed General Manager, Hong Kong Branch of CEC, effective Jan 3, 2016. Before joining CEC, Mr. Leung worked as Director of Chun Wo Construction & Engineering Co Ltd. from 2013 to 2015. Prior to this, he held senior positions in reputable local and international contractors such as Leighton Contractors (Asia) Ltd., Paul Y. Engineering Group Ltd., Dragages Hong Kong Ltd., etc. He is a seasoned veteran in the construction industry and has expertise in business development and management. He has led projects related to buildings, civil engineering, foundations, large scale design, and build works. Mr. Leung is also resourceful in Hong Kong and Mainland China, maintaining excellent affiliations with government officials and senior industry executives.

Mr. Leung received his B.Sc. degree in Construction Engineering from Costa Rica Institute of Technology. He was a council member of the Hong Kong Construction Association from 2006-2008 and 2015, and Vice Chairman of the Australian Chamber of Commerce CPI committee from 2009-2013. He is a fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and the Hong Kong Institution of Highways and Transportation, and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Currently he is the Honorary Secretary of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Civil Division and Council Member of the Institution of Highways and Transportation.
