Continental Development Corporation (CDC), one of CEC’s sister companies, is a premium real estate developer specializing in luxury residential buildings, complex community developments, hotels and commercial buildings. CDC was spun off from CEC’s property development business division and established as an independent entity in 2010. 

Over the years, CDC has pioneered new architectural concept and techniques, and has partnered with globally-recognized architects to complete a myriad of landmark buildings, including Richard Meier (1984 Pritzker Architecture Prize laureate), Cesar Pelli (1995 AIA Gold Medal laureate), Antonio Citterio (2008 Royal Designer for Industry, by the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce of London), Benedetta Tagliabue (designer of the Spanish Pavilion at the 2010 World Expo Shanghai), Rem Koolhaas (2000 Pritzker Architecture Prize laureate), and David Chipperfield (2023 Pritzker Architecture Prize laureate).

Today, the company holds investments in Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and the United States.

HDEC Corporation (HDEC) was established in 2006 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of CEC. In July 2017, CEC divested and transferred all its shares in HDEC and the latter became wholly owned by Continental Holdings Corporation (CHC).

HDEC is one of the leading environmental engineering companies in Taiwan, participating in a diverse spectrum of projects encompassing sewage treatment, wastewater reclamation, waste treatment and renewable energy development. With its extensive experience and capabilities spanning feasibility studies, engineering, procurement, construction as well as operation and maintenance, HDEC is able to deliver comprehensive, integrated services to clients.

HDEC actively participates in a wide array of environmental engineering projects through BOT, BTO, and EPC coupled with operation. Currently HDEC has the following subsidiaries: HDEC Construction Corp., HDEC (Puding) Environment Corp., North Shore Corp., Blue Whale Corp., HDEC-CTCI (Linhai) Corp., CTCI-HDEC (Chungli) Corp., HDEC (Ciaotou) Corp., HDEC (Chengxi) Corp., and HDEC (Baoshan) Corp.

Continental Consulting Limited Company (CCLC) is responsible for providing corporate function services including general affairs, human resources, information technology, legal and quality management to Continental Holdings Corporation (CHC) as well as three other member companies.
