Continental Engineering Corporation (CEC), a subsidiary of Continental Holdings Corporation (Stock Code: 3703), has been awarded the “CF690B North Circular Line Project” by the Department of Rapid Transit Systems, Taipei City Government. The total contract value of this project is NT$19,014 million, and the construction duration is 3,468 calendar days.
CF690B has a total length of approximately 4.18km with two underground stations, three sections of shield tunnel with a total length of 3,691m, a 128m cut & cover tunnel, and associated Mechanical and Electrical services.
This project is jointly undertaken by CEC and the Japanese company Kajima. With the combined experience and proven track record constructing similar MRT projects, the team has confidence the project will be delivered safely and to the highest standards.
