Following the award of C360 in Macau, CEC’s Hong Kong Branch received the Letter of Acceptance on July 25 for “Upgrading of Mui Wo Sewage Treatment Works and Village Sewerage at Wang Tong and Yue Kwong Chuen” from the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region – Drainage Services Department.
The Project was awarded to the Sum Kee – CEC Joint Venture. The contract price is HK$767,228,088 (approximately NT$2.97 billion). The project scope includes construction of 2.9 km sewer in Wang Ton and Yue Kwong Chuen, 2.0 km sewerage in Mui Wo city center, and the upgrading of the existing Mui Wo Sewage Treatment Plant. The construction is estimated to commence in September. Construction period is 57 months with target completion date in June, 2017.
CEC Hong Kong Branch with full support from Taipei HQ is dedicated to ensure the project will complete on time and within budget.
Sum Kee – CEC Joint Venture and the Drainage Services Department (DSD) of Hong Kong held the contract-signing ceremony on July 30th to announce the award.
