CEC India office has received the Letter of Acceptance dated on September 9, 2013 for the Jaipur Metro (Phase 1B) in Rajasthan, India for the design and construction of tunnel between Chandpole and Badi Chouper and two underground stations. The scope of project includes approximately 1.4 km tunneling by TBM method, approximately 0.4 km Tunneling construction by cut and cover method, and the construction of two underground stations.
The project was awarded to Continental Engineering Corporation with the contract price of INR 5.074 billion (Approximately USD 78 million). The project has 36 months construction period. This is the second project that CEC India office has been awarded this year. It is a remarkable success that CEC is able to break new grounds into a new region in India.
