Effective December 10, CEC International Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (CIMY) has opened its new Head Office in Kuala Lumpur.
CIMY’s new Head Office is conveniently located on Jalan Ampang in the central business district of Kuala Lumpur (KLCC) and it will serve to focus solely on monitoring the market, carefully selecting attractive and feasible undertakings and actively pursuing these opportunities to secure and expand the local construction business. CIMY entered the Malaysia market in May 2012 with its first project, KL Metro’s KVMRT Package C, for MMC-Gamuda as Main contractor. To undertake the project, CIMY set up a temporary project office, “MABA” which will continue to operate as the main management base for the project. The migration from the MABA project office to a head office showcases the future development of CIMY and its great intentions.
CIMY’s Head Office in Malaysia will also serve as a base to support CEC’s expansion in Southeast Asia and act as a “hub” to pursue opportunities in South East Asia including Singapore, Indonesia, Myanmar and the wider region.
