Effective from May 22, 2012, Mr. Sunil Shinde is appointed the Managing Director for CICI and the CEO for CEC India. He has over 33 years of experience in the Indian construction industry. He has worked with reputed companies like L&T-ECC Construction Group, Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd., Tata Realty and Infrastructure Ltd. and Welspun Projects Ltd. (WPL) in his illustrious career. He was MD and CEO of WPL prior to joining CICI /CEC India recently. He was involved in the implementation of large infrastructure projects mainly in the Transportation, Power and Building sectors. He was also instrumental in adopting the Australian Alliance concept for the first time in India to execute an IT Special Economic Zone project.
Under Mr. Shinde’s leadership, CEC looks forward to sustainable growth of its group companies in India.
