Scope of Work

  1. The project starts from Changhua County Fenyuan Township in the north and reaches Xizhou Township in the south, with a total length of 35 km.
  2. Bridge: 25.2 km viaduct
  3. Tunnels: The total length of seven tunnels is 9.41 km

Highlights

  1. The New Austria Tunneling Method (NATM) is adopted for all tunnel projects, including the Baguashan tunnel, which is the longest in the HSR project at 7,360 m.
  2. Bridge construction method: Full Span Precast Launching method (Mainly), balanced cantilever (FCC), precast segmental launching Method, cast-in-situ
